New bail guidance for judges in the First-tier tribunal issued today

The new bail guidance for judges in the First-tier tribunal was issued on 2 May 2018. This takes into account the changes brought in by Schedule 10 of the Immigration Act 2016 on 15 January 2018.

Immigration bail judges should take this guidance into account when considering whether or not to grant bail to people detained for immigration reasons.
