Bail for Immigration Detainees (BID) is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance and Office Administrator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our vital work challenging immigration detention in the UK.
About BID
BID is a leading human rights charity providing free legal advice and representation to individuals held in immigration detention. Since our founding in 1998, we have supported thousands of people to get out of detention, conducted crucial research and advocacy, and pursued strategic litigation to challenge unjust detention practices.
Our small but dynamic team operates from offices in Finsbury Park, where we are supported by around 50 dedicated volunteers. We are a registered charity and accredited by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC).
About the Role
As the Finance and Office Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Managing daily office operations
- Ensuring financial transactions are processed efficiently
- Supporting overall office management functions
- Maintaining health and safety compliance
- Promoting a safe and organised workspace
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
